Here’s a step-by-step guide to our patient onboarding process
Choose Your Program
Select the weight loss program that best fits your needs (e.g., Virtual Consultation, Oral Semaglutide, 6-Week Semaglutide, 12-Week Semaglutide, or Tirzepatide)
Click the link provided to access the questionnaire specific to your chosen program
Register Your Account
Create your patient portal account by providing your full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and mailing address
Ensure your email and phone number are accurate to receive timely updates and prevent treatment delays
Select Your Medication
Within your patient portal, choose the medication that aligns with your selected program
Provide Payment Information
Enter your credit card or debit card information for preauthorization, ensuring a smooth transaction once your prescription is approved
Complete Medical History Questionnaire
Fill out the medical history questions specific to your chosen program, covering topics such as current and past medical conditions, allergies, medications, family medical history, and lifestyle factors
Physician Review and Approval
Your questionnaire will be reviewed by a licensed prescribing physician within 24 hours
If additional information is needed, the physician will contact you through your patient portal
Once approved, the physician will send your prescription to one of our fulfillment pharmacies
Prescription Processing and Shipment
Upon prescription approval, your preauthorized card will be charged
You will receive a message in your portal confirming that your prescription has been sent to the pharmacy
The pharmacy will create a shipping label, which will be added to your portal for your reference
Once your medication is shipped, you will receive a confirmation message with tracking information
Ongoing Support and Communication
All communication with your prescribing physician, MWLCOA admin team, and pharmacy will be securely handled through your HIPAA-compliant patient portal
Access information about refills, tracking, and other pertinent details in your portal
Most states do not require phone calls or video chats, as asynchronous consultations are the primary mode of communication
