This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy supplements the MWLCOA Privacy Policy and applies to personal data defined as “consumer health data” (“CHD”) under the Washington state My Health My Data Act (“MHMDA”), Nevada’s Consumer Health Data Privacy Law (“Nevada CHD Law”), and Connecticut’s Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”). Undefined capitalized terms shall have the meaning provided in the MWLCOA Privacy Policy.
Categories of CHD Collected
Depending on your interaction with MWLCOA and applicable law, we may collect the following categories of CHD, as broadly defined under the MHMDA, Nevada CHD Law, and CTDPA:
- Health conditions, treatments, or diagnoses: Information provided while seeking medical services, consultations, or prescriptions through MWLCOA.
- Social, psychological, behavioral, and medical interventions: Collected as part of your medical history during the onboarding process or while using our services.
- Health-related surgeries or procedures: Information provided about past surgeries or procedures relevant to your care or treatment.
- Use or purchase of prescribed medication: Details related to medications prescribed or purchased through MWLCOA.
- Bodily functions, symptoms, or health metrics: Information collected during consultations or when utilizing our healthcare services.
- Diagnostic tests, treatments, or medication details: Information included in medical history or disclosed during your use of MWLCOA services.
- Reproductive or sexual health information: Data shared during consultations or through medical history questionnaires.
- Gender-affirming care information: Relevant data provided as part of the services offered.
- Genetic data: If disclosed as part of your medical history.
- Data identifying healthcare consumers: Collected during account creation, consultation, or treatment requests.
- Other related health information: Any data that may infer or extrapolate health-related insights.
Sources of CHD
We collect CHD through the following means:
- Directly from you via questionnaires, consultations, or account setup.
- Automatically through your interactions with MWLCOA’s platforms.
- From third-party sources, including healthcare providers or affiliates, as authorized by you.
Purposes for Collection of CHD
CHD is collected and used for the following purposes:
- Providing and managing healthcare services: To deliver and improve our treatment programs and ensure seamless care.
- Enhancing user experience: Analyzing interactions to optimize our services and resources.
- Marketing and communication: With your consent, for promotional purposes and to keep you informed about MWLCOA offerings.
- Legal compliance: To fulfill legal obligations and protect the rights of MWLCOA and its users.
How and Why We Share CHD
MWLCOA may share CHD for the following purposes, subject to applicable law:
- To fulfill treatment or service requests, including working with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and third-party service providers.
- To enhance service consistency and improve customer experiences.
- With your consent, for marketing or promotional activities.
- To protect MWLCOA’s legal and business interests, including fraud prevention and compliance with regulations.
- For legal purposes, such as responding to governmental inquiries or legal proceedings.
- In connection with business transactions, such as mergers or acquisitions, where CHD may be transferred as part of business assets.
CHD may also be aggregated or de-identified for research, analysis, or other purposes that do not identify individual users.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Under the MHMDA, Nevada CHD Law, and CTDPA, you may have the following rights regarding CHD:
- Confirm if MWLCOA is collecting, sharing, or selling your CHD.
- Access your CHD.
- Request deletion of your CHD.
- Withdraw consent for collection or sharing of CHD.
- Correct inaccuracies in your CHD.
To exercise your rights, submit a request via our webform. We may contact you for additional information to verify your identity but will never request sensitive financial information or passwords.
If your request is denied, you may appeal by submitting a request via our appeal form. Depending on your jurisdiction, you can escalate unresolved complaints to the appropriate Attorney General:

Updates to This Policy
MWLCOA reserves the right to update this policy to reflect changes in legal requirements, services, or practices. Continued use of MWLCOA’s services constitutes acknowledgment of changes.
